Welcome to this month’s Build & Bloom Stampers Blog Hop
This month’s theme is Festive Season
Hello Everyone,
Hi and welcome! I’m so excited to be joining in with this month’s Build & Bloom Stampers blog hop, where the theme is Festive Season. I have chosen to show you how I created two Christmas card using a fun fold called a Book Binding fancy fold out of one sheet of A4 card. I love this fun fold as it is a quick and easy fold especially when you need to create a lot of cards for a particular occasion like Christmas.
I knew as soon as I saw the theme I wanted to make my Christmas cards using the Traditions of Christmas patterned paper and the using the sentiments from the Greetings For You ephemera pack.

Materials I used to make my Book Binding fancy fold Christmas Cards
- Cherry Cobbler A4 card scored at 14.85 cms and 11.85 cms the flipped and cut down the short edge at 10.50 cm
- Old Olive card stock 2.5 cms x 10 cms and 11cms x 10cms
- Patterned paper 2 cms x 9.50 cms and 10.5 cms x 9.5 cms. Make sure if it is directional it is the right way up before cutting.
- Basic White 11 x 10.00 for the inside
- a sentiment from the Greetings For You ephemera pack
If you score your card first then cut it you will have two card bases already prepared out of one sheet of card.
How I made my Book Binding fancy fold Christmas Card
Burnish your folds on your card bases.
Glue down the little piece between the 11.85 and 14.85 score lines.
Now glue on the Old Olive pieces on top of the card base.
Glue on the patterned paper pieces on top of the Old Olive layers. I chose two different pieces for my card but you could have both the same if you wanted to.
Stamp the sentiment on to the Basic White layer and add this to the inside of your card.
Choose a sentiment from the Greetings For You ephemera pack
