I am taking part in this months Tech4stampers blog hop. The theme this month is to create a card using a colour combo of three of the new in colours for 2024-2026. Every year there are 5 new In Colours, these stay for two years then they retire, sometimes they may come back as a permanent colour. This years In Colours are gorgeous and all compliment each other.

These are the new In Colours. I love them all but if I had to choose one it would be Petunia Pop

How I created my card using a colour combo of 3 of the 2024 – 2026 In Colours
My current favourite stamp set is called Friends For Life so I knew I wanted to use this stamp set in my design. To make my colour combo card I used the in colours Peach Pie, Pretty In Pink and Summer Splash.
I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock 9.50cms x 13.90 cms
Next I stamped across using the stamp in the set I call a splodge. I inked up the Summer Splash and stamped roughly half way, then carried on using the Peach Pie and Pretty In Pink and carried on going alternating right the way across the card.
Then I stamped my sentiment and the leaves from the set in Black Memento ink.
I mounted this onto a layer of Basic Black measuring 14.40 cms x 10 cms
Finally I mounted this on my base layer which was a piece of A4 Summer Splash card cut in half portrait at 14.90 cms and scored at 10.50 cms
Below is a picture of my finished colour combo card. It’s such a simple design and one that could be used for any occasion.
I loved how my card turned out. I am currently taking part in a challenge to send 3 cards out in the post each week. Herbie and I popped 3 in the post box on our walk today, we hope to make the recipients smile.

Well that’s it from me today, it’s time to take Herbie out for his walk. He is currently very excited as tomorrow 10th July he is 5 years old and I have hidden his presents in a cupboard which every time I go anywhere near he as quick as a flash dashes to just in case it’s the time for him to have them.
The first photo below is when he was just 8 weeks old. He still loves to sit on my craft table and watch what I am creating.
